It's a lot more "advanced-looking" than Visual Basic. However, Microsoft has added a lot to Visual Basic in the last 15 or so years, making it just as capable as Visual C++.

I've done work in C++ in high school, so it shouldn't be too bad.;
I thought it was a lot more intuitive than Visual basic.;

I will likely be C++, so get ready to end all your lines with semicolons.

Ooh, I'd be honored to get help from you! I've taken a couple of programming courses before this, but I guess this is the first really serious one. I think it will be fun. ^^
