Yeah. I really just want Creative mode. The building aspect of Minecraft is really my favorite thing.
I also want 1.8 because once you find diamonds, it's pretty much over for you already. You've accomplished the biggest goal in the game as of now. .-.

Last I heard they were intent on releasing 1.8 sometime around mid to late August and they wanted us to be up to date with PC (at least to 1.2) by December.
    But who knows.

I think Windows 98 SE and 2000 should be able to handle these kind of drives just fine if formatted with FAT32 (FAT16 is not recommended for 2-4GB and impossible for anything bigger) and drivers exist.

    As for ME...

    ---

I think I now see why Office 365 Home Premium also has Outlook, Access and Publisher. Why? I just opened Publisher and the tutorial was for a family photo album. xD

    ---

I see who Microsoft omitted here when it comes to image providers

(Also, look at the scroll bars if you're using Internet Explorer (I forgot whether Opera still does it, and I think WebKit does it too... or is it?)

    ---

Cursors move smoothly in Office 2013. When you type, the cursor glides and doesn't just skip ahead. In Excel, cell colours change smoothly, and if any value change causes a calculated number to change, it'll roll down, old-school meter style. Making typing fun!

    ---

Do you think another 20 GB of space is overkill on SkyDrive? Or 1 hour of ***** calling per month?

So I'm testing out Office 2013, or, well, Office 365 Home Premium Preview.

That's enough licencing for 5 computers! And in the preview period, well, it's free. I hope that the pricing is competitive!

(When Windows drops the Vista naming scheme, Office picks it up)

Also, I like "CONNECTED TO EXCHANGE ACTIVESYNC" - wait, is this the first time I'm actually using it?

    ---

Firmware or driver updates for the laptop?

iTunes Store logic: The deluxe version of the same album is $1 cheaper than the regular version

Both come with no DRM, and the deluxe version contains extras and two more songs

In that case, who would buy the regular album?

    ---

Miyatake: When you open the Nintendo 3DS, for the surface material of the upper side, we're using a new resin called nylon GF55.
Iwata: GF stands for glass fiber, right?
Murakami: Yes. It's a plastic reinforced with fine glass fiber.
Iwata: So does the name GF55 mean that it's 55% glass fiber?
Miyatake: You got it. Usually, you bring out the color of the resin and then paint on it to draw out nice colors, but with GF resin, the original coloring doesn't come out well.

    ---

Guess someone introduced glass in the 3DS XL in the end.

    It's not the screen.

    ---

Murakami: Yes. On a LCD screen there are basically three reflective layers, which all of them reflects and cause glare. So this time, we specially treated all the layers. Reflectivity on the Nintendo 3DS was about 12%, but we decreased that to about 3%.

    ---

    Anti-reflective screens? NAICE!

Windows 8 Consumer Preview and up have an extra step in ClearType tuning.

The additional step is for when DirectWrite is in use and subpixel rendering is not available.

Seeing the "no hotlinking" images going on here, I figured that it might be a better idea to use the albums.

    It's awkward, that's for sure.

I stopped using Safari on OS X. It's a steaming piece of...

    Well, it's crashier than IE6.

I sincerely believe that even a virtualized copy of IE10 will run waaaaaaaay better than any browser on OS X. But that's not practical, so I went with Firefox. (I don't like WebKit a bit)

I've noticed that OS X uses additive blending for the menu bar. Overblown highlights, anyway? You will always get an in-between value between two objects if blended using alpha or average blending; there is no such guarantee with additive blending.

HFS(+) keeps extremely minimal file metadata; without external programs indexing them, if you delete a file "permanently" on a HFS(+) drive, all references to the file are wiped out. It's not just slightly messing up the file name or anything like that.

The worst part is that you can't even control Startup Repair because touchscreen drivers didn't load.

USB mass storage without the need of registry hacks, here we come

I do believe that you could say that the 11-inch MacBook Air is a netbook powered up beyond relief. You trade way better quality and performance on everything, at the cost of, well, price.

Also, modern Macintosh laptops make great Windows laptops, too. I could say that the MacBook Airs are the best ultraportables around, even under Windows. There's a reason I bought them - others just plain failed hard in either the display or trackpad department.

I see that I can safely put my laptop to only hibernate when the battery hits 2%, because I left the laptop turned on overnight, unplugged, and not being able to sleep.

It hibernated successfully. And It still had 2% left when turned back on.
