Where would you live in each Pokémon region?

Please choose cities/towns, and not islands, caves, forests, or other such-like places. Provide a reason for each choice as well.

Also, you can only choose a maximum of 4 places per region. Please do not exceed this limit.

Now, let me start:

Kanto:
-Celadon City: Has a lot of attractions, including a department store and a 'luxurious' hotel (as mentioned on Bulbapedia). It also has trees all around, some flowers, a fountain of water, and a small lake.

Johto:
-Ecruteak City: Has the Kimono Dance Theater, the Brass and the Tin Towers. It also has a nice, natural scenery.

-Goldenrod City: Is probably my best city in Johto. Has numerous attractions, including the game corner, department store, Global Terminal, Johto Radio Tower, and Magnet Train Station. Also has a wonderful sea shore.

Violet City: Is a nice city with a huge body of water, Sprout Tower, and some appealing vegetation.

Hoenn:
-Lilycove City: Is a great city with a lot of attractions, including a museum, a department store, a motel and a harbour. It also has a beautiful sea all around, as well as a nice beach.

-Mossdeep City: Has water all around, nice vegetation, a game corner, as well as a Space Center.

-Slateport City: Has water all around, the Slateport Market, the Oceanic Museum, and a Battle Tent. It also has wonderful wharfs on the right side.

Sinnoh:
-Canalave City: Has an air of exotic and foreign culture, a library, a free boat service to different destinations, and is an amazing port city with a canal and lots of moored ships.

-Floaroma Town: Has extraordinary vegetation, most noticeably the fantastic scenery of flowers all around. It also is free of pollution, has a flower shop and the Floaroma Meadow. On the route on the right, there's a body of water as well.

-Sunyshore City: It has a unique layout in that it has solar panels, which are used both for collecting energy and for providing roads. It also contains a lighthouse, a lovely market, and a Munchlax-shaped rock. It is also surrounded by a sea.

Jubilife City: Is the most modernized city in the whole region. It contains numerous attractions, most noticeably Jubilife TV, the Global Terminal and the Poketch Company. It also has few vegetation surrounding it.

Re: Where would you live in each Pokémon region?

Very interesting question. Mine would probably be:

Kanto: Celadon City (department store, game corner, fountain, and the surrounding trees are nice)

Johto: Goldenrod City (bike shop, department store, magnet train, radio tower, underground path, and in HGSS the GTS is located here)

Hoenn: Either Slateport City (market, museum, by the ocean/beach) or Lilycove (contest hall, department store, museum, and ocean view)

Sinnoh: Either Jubilife City (Being a computer geek, I likes high tech stuff) or Sunyshore City (solar panels means I can run my computer and video games all day long without having to worry about electricity bill, ocean view, lighthouse and market).

Kanto: Fushia - Zoo, Safari, it's quiet, and there's a beach.
Johto: Goldenrod - Lots of stuff to do, department store, Bug-Catching contest not too far away, Bill lives there.
Hoenn: Rustboro - Big city, near a beach
Sinnoh: Jubilife - Poketch company, worldwide trading/battles, clowns (???)

They're if Pokémon exist o_O

Re: Where would you live in each Pokémon region?

I don't think I've ever thought about this before. Even so, the regions have some very nice places to live indeed. I would go with:

Kanto: One of Celadon, Saffron, or Cerulean. Celadon has the amenities of a large city while preserving some natural elements. Saffron is the largest city, and would probably have more to do, but with less access to nature. Cerulean has a great ocean view and scenic areas while still being conveniently close to other cities and being fairly large itself.

Johto: Goldenrod for its size and sheer availability of attractions and things to do, or Olivine for its beautiful ocean view that still maintains a good size.

Hoenn: Slateport. It's centrally located and has plenty of attractions, plus a nice ocean view.

Sinnoh: Jubilife is just amazing. It's one of the most developed and populous cities ever seen in a Pokémon game, yet just steps away from its borders is pristine wilderness. It's not particularly realistic, but I'd take it.

Kanto - I would choose to live in Celadon City. It has a wonderful place to shop for all of my trainer needs, the air is clean and there are some really good Wild Pokemon surrounding it.

Johto - I would choose to live in Cianwood City. It's by the beach, a perfect place to train (the Fighting Gym) and a lovely place to explore just off its coast.

Hoenn - If I lived here, I would live in Rustboro City. The air looks clean and it is bustling with activity.

Sinnoh - If I lived in Sinnoh, I would live in Sandgem Town. I like the beach and everything there makes the area seem tropical to me.

Kanto: Vermilion City. It's oceanside, it's electronic, and there's a freaking sealiner. Plus, Diglett equals yes.

Johto: Cherrygrove. In real life, the street my house is on is called Cherry Grove. Neat, huh?

Hoenn: Slateport. The museum looks really kickass.

Sinnoh: Fight Area. I'll beat the crap out of everyone that comes in my way!

PokeRemixStudio December 31, 2009 01:17:46 PM

The biggest city in each region, so that would be Celadon from Kanto, Goldenrod from Johto, Lilycove from Hoenn, and I don't know the Sinnoh cities.

Alakazamaster December 31, 2009 05:26:43 PM

Kanto: Celadon City because of the department store, game corner, and pleasant feel of the city.

Johto: Blackthorn City because the Dragon's Den would be an awesome place to train, plus there's the Ice Cave and Dark Cave.

Sinnoh: Resort Area because of the great house, the level 100 Magikarps  and because its close to the Battle Frontier.

Alakazamaster: Why no Hoenn? It's not my favourite either but it still exists (In the fictional world of Pokemon)

Pokemonaholic December 31, 2009 06:46:21 PM

Kanto: Celadon City. Because it has the game corner, the department store, and its HUGE.

Hoenn: Lilycove city. It has the contest hall, the department store, its near the ocean, and I just like the feel of the town.

Sinnoh: Definitely Hearthome City. I just love that town.

Luxray13579 December 31, 2009 07:41:41 PM

Kanto:Saffron, It's a central area in kanto so why not?
Johto:OMA Definitely Goldenrod for shopping and breeding or blackthorn because of the dragons den.
Hoenn:Lilycove, shopping, beach, aqua hideout.
Sinnoh:My villa in the resort area, Its full of awesome furniture.

The Spirit of Time January 1, 2010 02:41:09 AM

Kanto: Lavender Town. It has ghosts!
Johto: Ecrutick City. Nice Style.
Hoenn: Foretree City. Living on trees.
Sinnoh; Jubilife City, the most civilized.

I might have written the cities in a wrong way because I don't remember them much.

The Hoenn games are the only ones I didn't play, so naturally I don't know any of the cities. :/ I guess I should have clarified that

I seriously swear I have answered this question before. It was probably on GameFAQs though.

Shadow January 15, 2010 11:18:06 PM

And which cities did you choose?

Magmaster12 January 16, 2010 03:39:01 AM

Saffron City
Goldenrod City
Mawvile City
Sunyshore City

I love the city.

FreezeWarp January 30, 2010 06:10:58 AM

Kanto - Sapphire City, because of all the psychics, the additional fighting gym, the tower Silph Co, and so on.
Johto - Goldenrod, with the radio tower, underground, casino, and the possibility of becoming family friends of Bill =D
Hoenn - Sootopolis, due to the cooler climate, really windy days (remember that its centered around a huge mountainous range), and the mysterious cave.
Sinnoh - I'd probably move daily. Though, I'd probably make home at Snowpoint, due to all the snow.
