Hreoth was already expecting for the end to come quickly to the cellular booger, so he decided to prepare for whoever came next. Focusing his mind, he increased his stats a second time, in thorough preparation for the next Pokemon to follow Cytosis.

Cytosis glared as much as he could at his opponent, but he now had to focus on whoever replaced him in the next round. He set up an invisible blockade around his entire vicinity, protecting his allies with the barrier. He cringed; could he be out of power already? Cytosis slowly fell to the ground before picking up again; it looked like it had survived the round!

Hreoth glanced evilly at his victim; he knew he had won. Seeing as he survived the turn, he created yet another protective barrier around him to protect him from any oncoming damage. The Hoothoot hooted in success, for anything Cytosis did now would destroy him!

Cytosis sadly floated down. It was over, and anything he did would be pointless; despite this, he tried. Creating small cells of psychic energy, he fired them at the expense of his own energy, only for them to bounce off of the protective barrier that Hoothoot had created. Hoothoot smiled. 1 down, one to go.
