The giant snowflake wasn't ready to go down so easily, even if its burn was greatly hindering it in terms of health. A cold wind began to blow, and the snow began falling in bombardments. The wind grew stronger, and Xylv was beginning to shiver to Cryogonal's power. Its freezing glare was enough to petrify Xylv. Suddenly, Nitrogen blew a powerful, frigid wind towards the enemy Cyndaquil. Xylv flared up his back flares for power, but it did little to deter Blizzard.

Xylv knew that if he was going to do any harm, he would have to strike back at the demonic, giant snowflake with an equally powerful attack. Though weak already, Xylv built in all the strength he had in his body, and his flames began to burn stronger than ever before. Nitrogen was afraid to even get close to the Cyndaquil. Xylv made a fearsome cry, and a huge, destructive explosion of hot lava spurted out from Xylv's back, landing right atop the quivering snowflake.

Nitrogen stared down the flaring Cyndaquil. It was losing energy fast, but Nitrogen was running a bit low on fuel himself. Nitrogen chased after Xylv, its pointy edges lashing out towards its target. Xylv made multiple maneuvers to dodge the oncoming attacks, but with speed and grace, he managed to dodge most of them, until Nitrogen tricked its opponent into moving, then came in from the side and sliced Xylv. But the burn had deterred it; since its Attack was cut in half due to his burn, barely did any damage!
