With his paralysis recently shaken off, Dark began the turn. He was happy to be mobile again, so he planned to launch another full-power attack. Tilting back and opening all 3 mouths, he fired off all 3 energy blasts. They collided, sending fireballs back down to the ground. Voltiger couldn't keep track of them all; he simply cowered and braced for impact. When the smoke cleared, Voltiger was amazed to see that he was unharmed, even though craters surrounded him.

Still happy to be alive, Voltiger decided to resort to nonviolence. Instead of mauling Dark, he simply stared at him from across the field. On Dark's side of the field, something strange happened. Dark was actually intimidated by Voltiger's sharp stare. He didn't know why, but it seemed to pierce his skin worse than any attack could.

Dark was very embarrassed because of two things. One, his last attack failed to scratch Voltiger. Two, he was intimidated by a tiny staredown! He was so angry, before he knew it he was firing off another Draco Meteor! The energy balls once again threw fire from the sky. Voltiger prayed and cowered, hoping he'd be unharmed. When the smoke cleared, the result was astonishing: there were 5 craters around Voltiger, but he was once again unharmed!

Voltiger was now flabbergasted. That move had missed twice now! If Dark could attack, so could he. He ran at Dark, chilling his sharp fangs. He pounced on Dark, and before he could be shaken off, bit down. It chilled Dark to the bone, and caused more damage because the damage was in the center of his body. Ice now in his veins, Dark had to lay down to cope with the pain.
