Dark was seriously peeved. How could his powerful move do absolutely nothing against a glorified thunder wolf? He fired off his 3 shots which collided and released a barrage of fireballs. Voltiger cowered, but the meteors struck. He expected to be crushed, but his spark shield saved him easily. It did almost nothing. Dark was amazed. What kind of mind games were these?

Voltiger was blissful that his spark shield had finally come to the rescue. He looked to the sky. The moon had begun to rise. He angled his head to the moon, away from the battlefield. Then, with all his might, he howled. Blood rushing in his veins, Voltiger felt refined. Turning to Dark, Voltiger felt a strange new power surging through him.

Dark saw how the tiny creature had practically absorbed a fireball! Was this some sort of trickery? He tried it out again. Firing off 3 shots, they collided over Voltiger's head, dropping 4 small meteors right on his head. Voltiger thought he was done for, but his spark shield saved his life again, crushing up the meteors as they fell. Dark again gasped in astonishment.

Voltiger came to and noticed that he was once again relatively unharmed by the fireballs. He wondered how long this miracle barrier was going to last for. Either way, he was running at Dark with frozen fangs of fury once more. He latched on and bit into Dark, releasing cold wrath into his body. Dark cried out, trying to warm up. It seemed to work well, but then Voltiger's spark shield disappeared.
