I'm reading some crappy Historical fiction book called "Cold Sassy Tree" for summer reading.
It isn't interesting and the climax graph is completely out of whack. It's bad. Last edited by Idno58; August 27, 2010 at 07:11:39 AM. |

Currently I'm reading 2 different things.
1.Polar Shift: Basically a book about ships traveling in the Arctic circle and going missing. 2.Scott Pilgram Series...again: I don't know, it's just a nice small series to have on hand when I get bored. |

I am currently reading Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks. I read one of her other books (The Reformed Vampire Support Group, to be exact) and it was really good. I love evil genius even though there are some things that don't make much sense (like a school for evil people that's been around for 5 years that no one has seemed to notice).

Currently reading The Hot Zone which is a nonfiction thriller. It's about a fatal disease that is very infectious to humans origined in Africa which to the point appeared somewhere in Virginia. The book scared the daylights out of me and it has rather disturbing and graphic scenes.

I've finished reading Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, and now I've started the next in the series, which is Percy Jackson and The Titan's Curse. I'm still reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, too.

Just finishing Silent Boy which is a simple story but it's enjoyable for me. I can related to the characters in the story and the boy reminds me of my sister. What's odd is this is the first book I read for fun since the school year starts. I guess I was too busy to read for fun and I lost interest. But I am slowly interested in books again for fun.

I stopped reading the Harry Potter series now that I reached the final book (I don't want to spoil the conclusion for myself). Instead, I am currently reading Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox by Eoin Colfer for our school's reading competition.

Book
I can't even remember if I read these before or not. I'll have to start buying the books themseves instead of relying on my school library. I've read the 1st and 2nd series, I didn't read some in The Power of Three. Boxed set would be nice. Can't wait for The Fourth Apprentice! EDIT: Redwall is also awesome, enjoy Emeror Empoleon or whatever your name is. The storyline is confusing as zelda, though, and that's saying something. No way, that's the book I'm currently reading in English too! And I agree, the dialect is kinda hard to read. That's because it's supposed to be read as you would hear the words being spoken in real life. You know, slang pretty much. But don't worry, after the first 3 or 4 chapters, you get used to it. (I'm currently on chapter 4)

Haven't read books for awhile due to schoolwork and exams coming up in April. For my leisure, I am reading I know why the Caged Bird Sings. I like exploring other cultures and their traditions outside of my culture because it gives me a new view from a different race.

As for me, I'm reading even more Warriors: Power of Three. I just finished #5: Long Shadows and finishing up the epic climate with #6, Sunrise. Erin Hunter is awesome. |

I'm reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistriss by Robert Heinlein for my Political Science Fiction class, and I really like it so far. The narrator speaks with broken english, where he drops unnecessary words...such as pro-nouns or things like "it" or "is".
For example: Book by Robert Heinlein very good. I enjoy story. Anyway, it's really good so far. It's got an AI and colonies on the moon. |
