From the beginning of the battle, a heavy downpour came down, soaking both battlers. Taps didn't like this, as now her sleak coat was dampened and heavy. She ran up to Arthroll and turned around. She waved her tail on his shell, praying that he was ticklish. When she ran over a certain spot, Arthroll began laughing, so she kept tickling there. Arthroll lost all control, and fell over laughing! This was an effective way to start the battle.
Eevee: -4 Energy
Whirlipede: -1 ATK, DEF

Once Arthroll recovered from his insane laughter from before, he got to work. He found some tough-looking rocks, and rolled against them. It took a fair amount of time, but soon, the rocks were all simply piles of pebbles and dust. Arthroll was proud of his work. He seemed stronger from his little exercise, and turned back to the battle in front of him.
Whirlipede: -5 Energy, +2 DEF, RAIN for 2 turns

The battle came back to Taps. She didn't care for Arthroll's rock-wrecking routine too much. Just looking at it made her drowsy. She let out a huge yawn... On the other side of the field, Arthroll saw this yawn. He was confused as to what it did. Suddenly, he too yawned. Now he felt extremely drowsy, and the battle didn't matter much to him anymore.
Eevee: -6 Energy
Whirlipede: DROWSY for 2 turns

Arthroll felt so tired, the battle didn't matter anymore. However, deep in the farthest part of Arthroll's mind, something was telling him to continue. He followed this faint command, and started rolling. He rolled faster and faster, and was coming to Taps! She jumped out of the way at the last moment, but it was not far enough. Her tail was completely flattened, and Taps let out a sharp cry.

Time to go on the offense. Use Headbutt to try and flinch it. After that, use Work Up.

Taps began the next round, and noticed how tired Arthroll was truly getting. She decided to try to end it here, and hopefully lull that wheel to sleep. Taps charged mercilessly at Arthroll, head first. Even though everything was foggy, Arthroll could see an object coming to him. He turned to his side, and was about to roll away. Taps, however, was faster, and collided with Arthroll's eye!
Eevee: -5 Energy
Whirlipede: -7 Health

Everything was blurred. And yet for some reason Arthroll's eye was throbbing uncontrollably. What had happened? All he knew was it hurt so much... He closed it. That felt much better. He fell on the soaked earth, and tryed to sleep. As his trainer begged for Arthroll to get up, he was lulled into a deep sleep. The rain stopped, and revealed a blazing sun soon after.
Whirlipede: Move FAILED (Flinched), ASLEEP for 5 turns, QUICK FEET activated, RAIN ended, SUNNY for 3 turns

Ironically, Arthroll seemed to sleep faster than that furball could move. he was already dreaming... That Eevee was getting it. He was using that poison he had stored in his spikes, the kind that was extra volitile... That Eevee was paying for her misdeeds, that was for sure. He faintly heard shouting in the dream, but couldn't figure out from where.
Whirlipede: Move FAILED (Asleep), ASLEEP for 4 turns

Even though that tire was asleep, Taps couldn't help but feel slower. How odd. She decided to beef herself up before that behemoth woke back up. She ran around, doing tasks in front of her. Soon, she got an adrenaline rush, and felt more powered up now that it was there. If only it wasn't as easy...

Arthroll's trainer groaned; this battle was going to go nowhere if Arthroll was sleeping through it! He found a decently-sized rock, and hurled it at Arthroll. It bounced off of his shell, without any effect. In Arthroll's dream, he was about to destroy Taps when an invisible bubble popped. Suddenly, he awoke to see that his dream was nothing but a mirage...
Whirlipede: SLEEP lifted (Shake Off Successful), 2 Shake Offs remaining

Taps seemed highly disappointed that her guest didn't get more beauty sleep. That meddling trainer had woken him up! Taps knew exactly what to do. She ran up to Arthroll in a greeting fashion. She casually strolled around him, and then mercilessly began tickling him yet again! Arthroll was overwhelmed by the sudden change of heart, and once again fell victim to the tickling.
Eevee: -4 Energy
Whirlipede: -1 ATK, DEF
SUNNY for 1 turn

Taps noticed that she was still faster, so she decided to play more tricks on Arthroll. She looked at Arthroll, and reared back, pretending to be unleashing a huge attack. Arthroll saw this, and began a steady retreat. When he looked to see if the coast was clear, Taps let out another huge yawn! Arthroll remembered this, and looked away before he would be affected. Then, he let out a yawn as well!
Eevee: -6 Energy
Whirlipede: DROWSY for 2 turns

Arthroll was certainly angered to find that he would be sinking into dreams again soon. Suddenly, he remembered something from his dream! He knew that it'd be hard to hit Taps, and even harder since he was drowsy, but he tryed anyway. He aimed for Taps, and mentally locked on. Then, he opened fire, spraying a poisonous acid out of his spikes! Taps didn't even see it coming, and got soaked by the gunk...

When Arthroll's trainer noticed that Whirlipede was teetering on the egde of Dreamland once again, he called Arthroll back. When a red light came out of Arthroll's Pokéball, it envoloped him and sent him back. His trainer then found a Pokéball labeled "From Prof. Juniper, with love <3". He threw it out, and out came a bright green, snide-looking Snivy.
Whirlipede: Switch for Snivy

When Taps saw this new opponent, she seemed slightly intimidated by his sly expression. She was scared for her life, so she predicted his attacks. Peering into the mind of Gnosp, Taps was ready for any attack that would come her way. It wasn't until after the process could be reversed that she remembered that Gnosp couldn't attack on ths turn. It was then that she felt a prickling pain from poison.
Eevee: -7 Energy, -6 Health, BADLY POISONED for 4 turns, RAINY for 2 turns

When Gnosp came out onto the battlefield, he noticed that it was pouring down rain, but felt that it had just been sunny. He loved the sun, and hoped it would return. He decided his next order of action was to seed his opponent. Producing several small spores from the tips of his yellow collar, he threw them to Taps. They caught in her fur, and grew into plant-like structures immediately. This wasn't good for Taps.
Snivy: -7 Energy
Eevee: SEEDED

Taps felt pretty strange at this point. She was afflicted with a terrible toxin, and was now covered in vegetation. She decided it would be a good thing to take a nap. She decided to do so. Letting out a huge yawn, Taps fell onto the ground and sprawled out. While she no longer felt slickly, the plant life on her didn't clear. In fact, it was only growing...

Unbeknownst to Taps, who was happily napping away, her health was failing due to killer vines. Her trainer knew this, and instinctively called her back. He pulled out a shiny ball labeled "Fross," and threw it out. Out came an elegant bird, sleek from a recent evolution. He looked down, and saw a pile of vines, which he swiftly kicked away. He then gave a sharp glare at Gnosp, with the intention of scaring him. However, it only seemed to up his spirit.
Eevee: Switch for Staravia
Snivy: +1 ATK

Gnosp was curious about the intentions of his opponent's glare. Was it supposed to Intimidate him? It had only pumped him up! He took this newfound energy, and called a monstrous wind from the heavens with one mighty bellow. The wind was so strong that it plucked leaves from surrounding trees, and sent them to Fross like daggers. They, sliced, diced, and mangled Fross, but he came out of it unusually unharmed. Also, Gnosp was more pumped up than ever... It was then that the sun shone once more onto the battlefield.
Snivy: -11 Energy, +2 SP ATK
Staravia: -11 Health
RAIN ended, SUNNY for 3 turns

While Fross was unexpectedly banged up by the fall of leaves, he was eager to win, especially after being taken out by one tenacious Tympole not so long ago. He used his newly elongated wings and flapped the sun-heated air over to the other side. This temperature rise wasn't taken well by Gnosp, who collapsed soon after experiencing it. He had to find a way to beat the heat.
Staravia: -9 Energy
Snivy: -22 Health

While Gnosp was taking the brutal heat brought on by Fross, he found a way to end it. He used a weak mind control to pick up a few scattered leaves from his last attack. Then, he took aim, and fired them. A total of 10 leaves flew across the battlefield, and all 10 struck Fross' wings, 5 on each side. Fross ceased his onslaught soon after to tend to his sliced-up wings.

Fross was ready to deal some damage, but first, he decided to mess with Gnosp a little bit first. Fross began to make flamboyant gestures, messing with Gnosp's mind. Gnosp was offended; Fross thought that he was WHAT!? Completely infuriated by anger, not only did his power decrease, but his sanity was blinded. Gnosp could only think of getting revenge on Fross for such horrible comments.
(Snivy: -2 ATK, CONFUSED for 5 turns, Staravia: -4 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 11, with 1-90 hitting]

Gnosp was hardly able see past the red fury his eyes imposed on him. With nothing but pure hatred for this bird, he had to get back at him. Gnosp, instead of listening to his trainer's command, charged straight at where he believed Fross was. Fross didn't even have to move; Gnosp charged right past him and slammed into a rock. He tumbled over, clutching his head.

Fross had Gnosp right where he wanted him. Using the energy from the blazing sun, Fross began to cause a giant windstorm to blow through the arena. As if the blistering heat weren't enough, it was all now directed towards Gnosp. Gnosp was stuck with his self-induced concussion, so dodging wasn't really an option. The blazing wind dealt massive damage, but as soon as it ended, the clouds began to reappear...
(Snivy: -15 Health, Staravia: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 41, with 1-90 hitting | Critical hit roll: 28, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Gnosp's raging fury only increased tenfold after that blazing attack, and then the sudden onslaught of rain. Gnosp charged once again at Fross, with his intentions lost within the mix of emotions. Gnosp once again charged inaccurately. Gnosp ran into the wall this time, hurting his face. He rubbed his head; he couldn't fathom why he kept hurting himself. Suddenly, he felt a drop of rain on his head...

Fross decided that now was as good a time as any to lay a massive smackdown on Gnosp. With Gnosp grossly inhibited, Fross was able to make enough preparations to lay a beating on the grass snake. Fross cloaked himself in a lustrous blue light, and then charged haphazardly towards the tottering Snivy. Fross slammed into Gnosp, sending him flying backwards, crashing into the stadium wall.

Gnosp managed to squirm out of the hole in the wall, but felt incredibly queasy after that. Gnosp found it to be a mere confusion issue; the blow had knocked the air out of him. Gnosp shook his head, as if trying to shake the pounding headache out of his head. Gnosp actually managed to feel a little better, managing to shrug his confusion off.
(Snivy: Shake off successful, no longer CONFUSED)
[Confusion roll: 34, with 1-50 cancelling confusion this turn | Shake Off roll: 18, with 1-50 working]

Fross noticed that Gnosp was beginning to resuscitate from his confusion. Fross realized that he couldn't allow that to happen, and that measures would have to be taken to keep Gnosp down. Fross rubbed his wings together, forming a toxic orb around him. Fross sent it towards Gnosp, and it embedded itself into Gnosp's skin. As soon as the nausea ended, Gnosp began to feel queasy inside.
(Snivy: BADLY POISONED for 5 turns, Staravia: -6 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 29, with 1-90 hitting]

Gnosp had some unfinished business with Fross, still. Gnosp began to form some poison spit in his mouth. Gnosp, with as much concentration as he could muster, Gnosp shot out a string of acidic spit. The spit covered over Fross, making Fross feel just as queasy as Gnosp was.
(Staravia: BADLY POISONED for 5 turns, Snivy: -6 Health from Poison, BADLY POISONED for 4 more turns, -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 85, with 1-90 hitting]

Thanks for the poison, I'll use it against you now!
Use Facade, then Wing Attack, but if he tries to Protect himself from Facade the first time, use Facade again!

Facade ~ Wing Attack/Facade

Well, I guess that settles that. Reun is disqualified, and Quad wins $10.
