I forgot what they were called, but all I know is they're filled with stuffing, like the stuff in your couch.

Anyhoo, we watched Edger Allen Poe's "The Raven" in class today. I did't really get it, but it made me think of the Tails Doll.....

Well it still hurt considering he hit me with a ton of force, while being close to my head.

But it didn't hurt enough to stun me. I just laughed it off.

But I bet it didn't hurt for very long

Also I just cleaned out my folder that contained all of my images like sprites, signatures, and VR screenshots. Stuff like that. But I deleted some stuff and split it up into 4 folders, now it is MUCH cleaner and easier to work with.

Nothing really new on my side, but more homework and stuff. I was creating a poem as a homework today. I suck in writing poems.

I have to make up a diver's training day today then go straight to my high school for a football game (I hate being in the marching band sometimes).

Basically a portable band. They play intruments like they usually would, but the walk, too.

Oh! We have these bands here in Dubai. They come in Dubai Festival Month, i.e, January. We also get circuses and other nice stuff during that month.

Sounds like a big celebration on January, do tell. What's it all about? I can't think of anything major we celebrate in January other than on the first, New Year's Day.

They take the New Year as the first day, and then go on. It is called Dubai Shopping Festival, which lasts for a month I guess. During that time, everything goes on sales and all kinds of brands and shops from all the world come to Dubai to sell. Many tourists come as well. Apart from shops, entertainment facilities are also there. It is nice here during that time.

:O Wow that sounds really cool, I want to go to a shopping festival! That's like boxing day I guess, on December 26th, except for you it lasts a whole month.

Good news for me, we're getting a Super Target in the city sometime soon! No more driving to Grand Forks for that store. We've actually got a Game Stop here now too, but I haven't been able to test it they hold the events, though I highly doubt it.

You should try the ham my Grandpa (or sometimes, my mom) makes. Have you ever heard of ham that's cooked with a beer can inside it? Well, my Grandpa uses a can of coke. It's really good.

As for my weekend, we're going to my Grandparents house tomorrow. It's about a 15 minute drive. I wonder what's for lunch tomorrow......

My school doesn't get Colombus Day off so we have a regular 2 day weekend instead of a 3 day weekend

I also have a Unit 1 Algebra test on Monday and I'm extremely confused /:

I got my blood pressure checked today, and it's pretty low! (which is a good thing.) The numbers are 96/46, if anyone understands that .
I almost fainted afterward, though *~*

But the bands which we have here are formal and do not include young people. The reason I asked was because one of the members (already forgot who) mentioned that he's part of a marching band. We don't really have a marching band for this age group...

I haven't checked my blood pressure in a long time either. If I need to worry about anything, it's probably diabetes, since it's quite popular in my mom's family. Actually, my uncle (who is very young) recently discovered that he has diabetes, and he was unaware of it for 3 full years! The doctor said he was lucky he didn't die. =/

My blood pressure usually stays around 100-110. I guess that's okay, because my mom's got low blood pressure, and my dad has high blood pressure. (Or was it the other way around...?)

Diabetes I might have a problem with though. My grandma has it, so I guess I have a shot at it. :/

Quite honestly, I never understood what the blood pressure readings meant. As for diabetes, my grandmother, grandfather and uncle are diagnosed with it in my mom's family, so that's 3x the trouble for me. >_<

Wow, that would be scary to know you had diabetes for 3 whole years and didn't know it, but my mom's family has had a high rate of diabetes also but my grandfather found out about it the worst. He went to the doctor and the doctor asked if he'd been taking his inculine and grandads like what are you talking about!, but long story short he got a shocking truth about having diabetes.

My grandmother has had diabetes since 30 years ago. I wonder how she never got bored of taking insulin everyday and having limitations on the food she eats during all this period. 0_0

Only my grandmother and my mom's side and my grandfather on my dad's side have diabetes. I really don't think I'll get it but if I do... no more 6-15 extra large Slurpees every month. 7~7 I love those things, they're so good...!

Really GPFTW? I love them, but that's because I love sugar. I'm telling you, I waste so much money on them and I've got to stop XD. On the 8th I had 2 extra large Slurpees. That's right, 2 on the same day. They make me think everything is funny, so it's almost like I'm drunk, but not anywhere near as bad. (I'll stick to my Slurpees, not alcohol for me.)

Dude.. Soliek, I play Need For Speed: World and they have a thing where if you get enough Slurpee points (you type in a code on the Slurpee I guess) you get a free rental car for 5 days. :0 It's quite interesting that you're talking about Slurpees on VR.

I've never had a Slurpee but they look tasty.

My mother's side is known to have not a very good memory. In fact, a weak memory to be precise. All of them have this inheritance, and I already got it. Yes, I have a very bad memory, and Shadow did experience that a lot of time.

My dad's side has all got cholesterol, and I do have a great chance of getting it, especially that i eat a lot of meat, especially raw meat.

@SK: You've never had a Slurpee? What is this world coming to?
I love meat, raw meat not so much. I'm a total carnivore, I rarely eat my veggies, but then again which lions do? Thanksgiving dinner on my father's side tonight, I'll end up eating ham, turkey, moose, deer, chicken and lots of other stuff. The only vegetables I really like, are potatoes and peppers, they're yummy.

Wat. What's a Slurpee?
So yeah, I've been bugging Lux since she claims to be an expert at lucid dreams. They sound fun!

They are, you can control them, who doesn't want to control their dreams? I'm no expert, I've just managed to have lucid dreams every so often. I think the first one I ever had was me walking in to Walmart and I somehow instantly knew it was a dream, bam, lucid.

My worst dreams are when I get a dream in a dream. That is just stupid. I remember I dreamed once and then woke up to find myself in another dream. *Sigh*

I hate when that happens. Then when you tell someone, they just laugh. My friend is obsessed with dreams. She wants me to tell her everything I dream.

You know, I had a really weird dream last night. I don't remember much; all I remember was a beach (I think), me in an animation class (no idea why, but the teacher was really mean), a huge metal container in my mom's car, and my mom driving on a freeway that we weren't on moments before backwards and off a bridge with her car (that I was apparantly in, with the huge metal container, but I had totally forgotten about it by then) , right before I woke up. I was sore afterwards. o.o

Well, I'm not really aloud to walk anywhere by myself, and my parents rarely go to 7-11 anyways. I would ask, but they always have, like, stuff to do. *sigh*

On the Topic on blood Testing, I actually forgot what they told me. All I remember is that it was at a good level. At least I don't have anything to worry about.

Heh. I'm kinda like you, except I don't normally eat ham, moose and deer. And peppers? Certainly not my favourites unless they're in fajitas. For vegetables, I like potatoes, carrots, corn and mushrooms (I'm not even sure if this the last one is a vegetable, but whatever =P).

I've never tried moose or deer, but I'm pretty much a carnivore too. I like Ham, turkey, beef, steak (are those the same thing?), Tilahpia (don't think I spelled that right), and catfish. As for veggies, I like potatoes, carrots , and brocolli.

Never have deer or moose before but I like to eat ducks and pig ears. The pigears tasted good and crunchy. I usually eat duck with a special sauce and with rice. The duck can be greasy.

Ouch, Your best bet is to keep your leg motionless for a bit. In other words, try not stressing it by constant motion.

I tend not to eat meat... I just don't like it. I'll occasionally have some chicken, but I prefer my veggies. I'm a really, really fussy eater :I

I'm a meat-eater. A full-blown, full-scale meat eater.

My grandpa used to raise chickens and eat them, but one time I heard from my dad that he ate a fried snake once. O.O

The most exotic meat I've seen would be this Venison Stu that my chef made from a hunting trip.

It looked pretty nasty.

Hehe, I'm still in my PJs. They're fuzzy. My sister and I have been listening to music all morning while mom and step dad are out unloading our RV for the winter. It's almost the middle of October and it was 22 degrees Celsius yesterday! That's insane, we'd usually have snow by now! I hate this warm weather, I look forward to the cold. =/

I was laughing at my dad's girlfriend because she said it was a record low in Thailand this year, 16 Celsius! It's 13 here right now, man Thailand needs some colder weather. I'm moving in like, 5 days so I better go pack right now. D: (I never realized how much stuff I have. :S)

Good luck on your move, Lux!

I had my second band test today (the first one didn't count for a grade) and it was on a song that was really difficult. This song is the one we tested on:

Apparantly, my band teacher grades insanely tough, but I got a 73%! (Note: C's in his band class are pretty good, B's are insanely good, and A's are almost impossibly good) I was very satisfied, of course, I'm still going to have to practice more than I am now. :X

On another completely other side note, this is my 400th post. Yay! :3

Seens that you are happy moving and will adjust pretty well Lux. ^-^

I don't know anything about music but it looks really hard playing that music. I haven't took any music classes since 6th grade and have no interest taking it. What kind of instrument do you play Grass?

Thanks Tropius! *noms on cookie* Kirby, I play the alto saxophone. Also, of about the ten people who tested today, my band teacher said I did the best job. I also play the piano, which I have more experience in.

I need to write a poem about a person who influenced my life...I'm gonna do my grandfather from my dad's side (deceased now, due to a car accident). I might post it here to see how you guys like it. :3

Also, I did my monthly avatar change a little early this month. However, with Halloween coming up, halfway through the month, I'm gonna change my avatar again, and then when November comes around, I'll go back to my current until December.
