Default PSA: Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is free on Origin

http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to...te-collection/

Wasn't expecting this to end up becoming a free-for-all; it was made available to those that have a digital copy earlier.

Start by downloading and installing Origin.
Interest lost. I distrust Steam, and Origin is worse.

It did on my laptop. Check driver and Optimus settings.

incidentally, this is one of these games where Origin is required only for installation and first launch.

Already have Origin because of Battlefield 3 and Plants Vs. Zombies, so I may as well pick it up

I actually have Origin on my computer for some odd reason, but Origin makes Steam look like a shiny new 3DS so this is one game giveaway I think I'll be avoiding :P

Hehe. Personally I find things to be the other way around. At least Origin doesn't randomly decide to peg my laptop and crash.

Wow I'm really happy now the game actually working on my computer with this.

Not to mention the fact that this includes the stuff packs I never bought.

That, and you never have to worry about installation orders until Origin goes down forever.
