Default Choosing a new laptop

So basically I need a new laptop since the screen on my current one doesn't want to work anymore. (Have to connect it to a monitor, which defeats the purpose of it.) I've narrowed my choices down to 3 laptops and I need input over which one I should get.

 Samsung Series 3 NP300V5A-A04DXHP Pavillion G6-1331EAHP Pavillion G6-1337SA

Battery lifeUp to 4 hoursUp to 5 hoursUp to 6 hours

All come with Windows 7 x64 and have a 15.6" screen (1366x768). So yeah pick which one you think I should get. (I'm mainly gonna be using it for games and the most intensive game I've got currently is Sonic Generations.)

I would choose either of the HP Pavilion models, probably the 1331EA if you're going for gaming (note that it cannot be upgraded beyond 6 GB of RAM, however). I'm not personally a fan of consumer-level HP laptops (mine's a business one), but I've heard they've gotten better in recent years.

I wonder what is the relative performance of these CPUs that the laptops have compared to my dual-core but hyper-threading Core i5 clocked at 2.4 GHz. It might paint a better picture when we can get a more proper comparison without being in a vacuum.

That said, I think Cat333Pokémon is right in this regard... I think. The extra twenty British pounds will do a lot of good when it comes to gaming performance and battery life when you aren't gaming.

HP Pavillion G6-1331EA. Given the price drop, you don't have to consider anything else.
