Most of these deaths are caused by accidental or forced inhalation of DHMO, but that's not over. DHMO is more dangerous than you think. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO for humans can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. The symptoms of DHMO for Pokemon can be complicated. The most common symptom is loss of HP, fainting and even death. The lesser common symptoms includes lowering of accuracy, confusion and flinching. Also, the symptoms of DHMO for humans also apply to Pokemon. Almost every human and Pokemon are addicted to DHMO. For them, DHMO withdrawal can cause loss of combat power, loss of moves and even death. Quantities of DHMO have been found in almost every stream, lake, river, ocean and even almost every human and Pokemon bodies. Even worse, the DHMO contaminant has been found in snow, icebergs and even Ice Pokemon. DHMO are used by Pokemon Trainers as a cheating tool. Its power rivals the Game Shark. Numerous Pokemon Trainers used DHMO to: - reduce power of Fire-type attack - boost a Pokemon's defensive power - cause immobility to opponent Pokemon - strike first in attacks - lower a Pokemon's accuracy - confuse a Pokemon - regain HP for a Pokemon - attack a friendly Pokemon - attack in critical spots - tactical and strategic advantages As you can see, DHMO is a powerful cheating tool that should banned. We have proposed the Pokemon Leagueto perform a dihydrogen monoxide check before every Pokemon battle, to prevent cheating. However, the Pokemon League has refused to regulate the usage of DHMO in battles due to DHMO's "importance in tactics and strategies". In fact, DHMO are used by evil organizations such as Team Rocket and Team Aqua to design secret high-tech devices to capture and control Legendary Pokemon. They collect and store DHMO in a secret underground distribution network and store large quantities for later use. Please see attachment (example.tm) for an example TM that is widely used by Trainers to cheat in battles. --_MESSAGE-- --_ATTACHMENT-- Content-Type: application/xml+pokemon-tm name="example.tm" Content-Disposition: attachment <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> <tm xmlns="http://schema.pokemonleague.com/1995/tm"> <info> <name xml:lang='en'>Dihydrogen Monoxide</name> <description xml:lang='en'> Target Pokémon will receive 10x damage from Water attack. </description> <power>-</power> <accuracy>100</accuracy> <pp>5</pp> </info> <data type='bytecode dec'> 1238752756823732749231785823756723572398321123208305727385865236757231230523 7565327858372587260213558623970572931578763728587235287135842652873578235213 5236521752323153258238752738587232357827385237562757823942935826523895235872 130951010537287356232135821378509235235971397213572378526957123998 </data> </tm> --_ATTACHMENT-- |

Re: Dihydrogen Monoxide Warning in the Pokemon World
For those of you who don't know this: It's a hoax from 1989.
For those of you who are n00bs to chemistry: Di-: 2 Hydro-: Water-based Mono-: 1 Oxide: Oxygen-based Therefore, dihydrogen monoxide is pure water, extrapolated into chemical terms. Win. |

Re: Dihydrogen Monoxide Warning in the Pokemon World
You just ruined the fun. This, although, isn't the said hoax. If you notice, this is referring to Pokémon things. What's funny is water does kill a lot of people, yet it is needed to live.
Fun Fact: if you drink pure water, you can die from Water poisoning. I'm not talking like bottled water or stuff like that. I'm talking like distilled water, which is just H[sub:340alouo]2[/sub:340alouo]O, no other added things. |
