Fire.
Yeah...
Cliche, right? Hahaha, because imanicetypeandeverything.... But seriously, I really am afraid of fire. I got burned multiple times as a little kid, and to this day it has haunted me. The instant I see an open flame, I run in the opposite direction. Last edited by Cyrus; December 30, 2012 at 08:34:41 PM. |

I'm not afraid of heights, nor am I afraid of tight spaces...
I'm afraid of falling off tall heights and I'm afraid of getting stuck in incredibly tight spaces (as long as I know I can move easily, I'm not afraid. It's when I start to have difficulties moving that I start panicking). It doesn't even have to be an enclosed space, it could be the space between two fence gates that are locked together and there's just enough room for people to fit in between. |

I think we've found our replacement Syra.
Anyway, I'm afraid of the usual spiders and heights. Though more specifically on the 'heights' part, I'm not afraid that anything is gonna fail while I'm up high because there are safety regulations and everything, but rather edges, because I'm not confident in my ability to not fall off an edge. |

True Phobias that I have, some are typical. Such as Acrophobia (I was seriously shaking on the stairs of a roller coaster when I worked at Six Flags during morning tests...), Claustrophobia (doesn't always occur so it's more mild, usually relates to People crowding around me). My only other one that I am currently aware of is Astraphobia.

Just relized I do have an actual phobia, Roxas reminded me that I have a great fear of needles more so when it comes to getting shots, I'm deathly afraid of how much it will hurt and if my parents bring up how I need to go in to get a shot, I go into flight or fight mode sorta.
This fear is called Needle Phobia, how inventful or lesser know as trypanophobia. |

I hate palmetto bugs. I swear over my life, if I see a freaking palmetto bug, I dash away from the thing until someone either gets it away or kills it.
I hate pictures of them, too. Do NOT send me pictures of those atrocities. NONE. DO NOT EVER DO IT. Please. |

I almost forgot one of my greatest fears, even bigger than water. Doctors, hospitals, clinics... anything in those areas. I get very sick at even the thought of an operation or having stuff put in me... and the smells...
But surprisingly, I have noooo problem at all with blood. I almost like it too much. |

I did forget to mention another one of my fears; bees! Bees or pretty much anything that buzzes loudly makes me feel nervous. Especially when they buzz in my ear. ._. (It's one of the reasons why I'm weak to Bug Buzz) |

I guess one of my fears would be being in the spotlight/the center of attention. I get extremely scared and weak in the knees whenever I HAVE to speak up infront of crowds or even just infront of my classmates, it's just paralysing knowing all those eyes are on you and makes me wanna tear up if I make eye contact with one of them let alone a bunch of them.

I am Arachnophobic and am also afraid of the ocean. I have been getting over the fear of spiders thing though (sort of).
Oh, I also need to add claustrophobia to my list as well. That tends to be way worse than any of my other fears. Last edited by Cyrus; January 16, 2013 at 03:32:47 PM. Reason: merging |

I am not sure if this has ever been registered as a phobia, but I have a fear of anything getting close to my eye. Whenever I see something pointy or an eye drop, I imagine it poking my eyes, which freaks me. Now, if anything of that sort gets close to my face, I run away like crazy.

As much as I like horror movies, I can't deal with body disfiguration in real life, ESPECIALLY in the eyes. Eye horror makes me feel terrible, I can't even THINK about it.
Oh, and my 3 fears that contribute towards my (slowly diminishing) social awkwardness. Fear of rejection, fear of correction, and fear of making mistakes/being wrong. (But yes, I admit it's getting better all the time.) |

I have a big fear of being killed with acid be it through corrosive spray or acid bath. I don't know the phobia name for it, but the thought just sends chills down my spine. Clock Tower 3 had a scene involving this and it scarred me for probably my whole life.

Speaking of death, I have a horrendous case of Thanatophobia. Especially when it's death by sleep, since I really love sleep and it's such a common way to die. The thought of anyone I know being dead also frightens me, so I like to think everyone I know will live forever and ever. Such a simple way of thinking... but it makes me happier...

I'm afraid that one day, everything that happens for me will turn become follow Murphy's Law (if it can go wrong, it will).
Life for me is going fairly well as of now. Not as much stuff going on in school to make it difficult, and I've been rather fortunate lately, give or take a few things here and there, and if Murphy's law goes into effect, and everything that could go wrong does, I don't know how I would handle it. |
