That's a pretty bad to, Typhlosions move set it mostly phisical which doesn't work out well same for Ampharos knowing strength.

Also why does your Sunflora know cut but you don't have any pokemon with rock smash?

I'm probably going to have an HM Sponge in before I take on the Elite Four. Tentacruel is probably the last Pokemon I'll catch, so most likely I'll have Rhydon or Golem in it's place.

Strength isn't the best move for Ampharos, but I thought it'd be ok. I wanted to save Ty for the offense, and not 'pollute' it's moveset with HMs that it can't really benefit from.

Hey I wouldn't totally count out typhlosions physical attack stat. Earthquake still has alot of power behind it, and I guess thunderpunch and shadowclaw would add more type coverage.

....but as for the Iron tail and strength on ampharos...those won't really do much compared to his special attack. Go with power gem, or signal beam. And instead of cotton spore id use T-wave.

I wouldn't like this team.
It's not bad, it's just you will easily get taken down by earthquake.
After Typhlosion, Tentacruel, and Ampharos are taken down by, say, dugtrio,
a good fire type like charizard or infernape will easily take down skarmory, sunflora and alakazam.

I don't care if you like Tentacruel or not, you need a better water type! Say... Milotic? Blastoise maybe?

Looking at the team it seems to be weak against electric type, and for the most part the team seems to be more on the offensive which can be a problem if you run into a wall someone like Metagross which has both and defences and the offence though your team is not exceptionally weak agains it, though if set up right it could be. Point being you might need to cover more types with your moves that way you don't have a type that can surpise you.
