Here's another sample, this time from Mario Kart 8. I still think it's a little convoluted when they really should've just given us a button on the menu to save a screenshot to an SD card.

I found out about this when they first announced it a long time ago. I can't remember exactly when it was announced, but it was a feature included in a system update. I even uploaded a screenshot of Pokemon Rumble U's title screen to my Image albums on this site as a test when it was first available.

Congratulations, Nintendo, you have added screenshots to the 3DS without needing Miiverse...but it's the most useless feature you've added to date!
You can only take pictures of the home menu. It appears like this ONLY exists to gloat that you bought a theme (or to show off all the random stuff you bought on the eShop). If I attempt to take a screenshot of the top screen while software is suspended, I get this message: Quote:
