Default 3DS Cirle Pad add-on has been released (for Japan)

What do you think?

Click me.

I personally think it's a waste.

I have still yet to see it in action and can't make any judgements on it now. But I really cannot think of any reasons why a second circle pad would be helpful.

I love my 3Ds. And I think circle pads are sexier than analog sticks.
While this would be totally unnecessary, Buying add ons never hurt, AND DOUBLE THE SEXY ON 1 SYSTEM. I might get it.

Eh... I don't really like the look of it. Wouldn't it feel awkward having the screen slightly to the left of your hands? Wouldn't reaching the ABXY buttons be awkward? I guess I can't really make a proper judgement until I get my hands on one, but right now I'm not a huge fan.

I'll be getting this only when it's bundled in with a game that I want. So... um, maybe I'll end up buying it late next year?

It looks uncomfortable and useless.

Why would they need to make a second circle pad for the 3DS anyway. I think that the 3 DS is fine with only one circle pad.

It also includes a new R or L button (can't remember which).

It's so that people that are used with two analog sticks can play games in the way they want. Note that many of these games also use alternative control schemes for people who don't want the add-on.
