Name's Paradox, as you can obviously see by my username. I'm new to these forums and was brought here by the prospect of application to the league- However, success or failure in that department, I hope to get to know a lot of people here regardless and plan to stick around!

To break the ice a little, lemme shoot some bullet points about myself.
-> I'm from the United Kingdom, England specifically
-> Played Pokémon since the first generation with my teal Gameboy Colour
-> I enjoy a great many things, most of them nerdy to some degree. For example, I'm recently getting into (and loving) Pathfinder.
-> Scotch Eggs are my favourite snack ever.

Indeed it is! But doesn't it just make it more exciting and rewarding to compete? A flame against a tough wind only makes it more intense! (This expression being a bit of a pun, since I'm applying as a fire-type leader, haha!)

Thank you for the welcome. As for other forums, I'm not sure. I used to be a gym leader for a group on steam, but that was chatroom based entirely. I don't tend to frequent many forums in fact... but hey, I guess this sort of situation makes my username choice ever the better right? Given the word's meaning, haha.

Another Teal GBC owner, huh? Awesome stuff. Still got mine actually on my bookshelf, though as a kid I broke the backing to the battery compartment, which sorta sucks.

Really? Whereabouts did you live, if you don't mind me asking?
And yeah, you don't see many of us about- I don't, anyway. I sometimes see other countrymen, but it isn't really a common occurance unfortunately- most people I become online friends with are from the states, with some mainland europeans here n' there.
